Three durian factories in Thailand were notified! Crack down on "problem" Durian into the market

According to the Chinese website of Thailand, the government of Tsim Chuk Wen, Thailand, recently held a press conference to inform the local durian quality inspection results. A total of three durian factories have quality problems with durian.

It is understood that one of the three durian factories is a Durian factory named "Cu Mei" in tha Mai county. The victim purchased 180 kg of durian from this factory at a price of 185 baht (about 39 yuan) per kg. It was found that the maturity of durian did not meet the picking standard, so he called the police at the first time.





The second one, named "Nong a", is located in the urban area of jianzhuwen Prefecture. The inspectors found that the meat content of 40 gallons of durian was only 27% (the standard was more than 30%). The factory involved boxed the problem durian and prepared to send it to China.





The third is the durian factory located in "Ma nosh" in Na Yai am county. After inspection, it was found that the meat content of 192 durians did not meet the standard, and the lowest was only 20%.

It is reported that the durian has been confiscated, and the person in charge of the factory involved has also been warned and fined.





It is understood that the laws involved in picking and selling immature durian include Article 271 of the criminal law and Article 47 of the consumer rights and interests protection law. Article 271 of the criminal law relates to sales fraud, Violators will face up to three years' imprisonment or a fine of no more than 6000 baht (about 1263 yuan), or both; Article 47 of the consumer protection law states that anyone who falsifies important information about the origin, shape, quality and weight of products, resulting in consumers being deceived, will face up to six months' imprisonment or no more than 50000 baht (about 10520 yuan) fine, or both.





The Fuyin of jianzhuwen Prefecture in Thailand said that the current durian market demand is large. In order to pursue high profits, some unscrupulous merchants sell immature or substandard durian to the market. He called on fruit farmers in Tsim Chuk man to unite to safeguard the reputation of local durian to ensure the long-term development of durian in Thailand.





Given that it is the season when durian is intensively listed in Thailand. Chalakchai, Minister of agriculture of Thailand, recently told the media that the Ministry of agriculture has instructed relevant departments to investigate the inflow and export of immature durian into the market. Once those involved are found, they will be severely punished.
